The role small businesses play in the economy and the value they create is sometimes underestimated because individually, they are in fact, small. But the truth is without small businesses, where would half the country work? And, without small businesses like yours, where would Podio be?
Our user community is made up of thousands of small businesses who chose Podio to help them organize, grow and contribute to the economy in many untold ways. That?s why we?re teaming up with Silver Lining Limited, an organization dedicated to helping small businesses flourish, and heading to a city near you to celebrate small businesses and give something back (read: free stuff!).

This event is part of a national movement ? Thank You Small Business ? which was created through the collaboration of over 100 national and local partners. ?The goal of this movement is three-fold:
1. Increase the awareness about the importance of small businesses to the economy and spread the word to the general public that we CAN, and in fact will change the economy ? one small business at a time ? simply through our support.
2. Thank and support no less than 25,000 small businesses with thank you cards, 10 free events, 20 free webinars and access to a special Podio small business community FULL of free resources to help small businesses grow.
3. Throughout the tour, we will release and update the Thank You Small Business Economic Report which is full of information on exactly how we can change the economy as we know it. In addition, as we travel the country, we will be gathering real stories, stats and feedback from small businesses.
